Studio Classes
Running Club
This is a supervised class outside of the main gym. Each week is different, ranging from long distance and stamina work to sprints and power work. Run between 3-6 miles at a steady pace, burning body fat and improveing over all fitness.
Target Specific Areas
Legs, Bums and Tums
These classes incorporate specific exercises that target those problem areas. Use bands, dumbbells and your own body resistance in the Legs, Bums & Tums classes.
Cardiovascular
Ladyzone Mini Circuits
Burn body fat, increase aerobic fitness and firm up your entire body with any of these awesome aerobic based classes.
Mini Circuits is a fun, enjoyable class with a mix of cardiovascular and resistance training. Guaranteeing a great workout while being able to work at your own pace. Burn body fat, tone up and gain confidence in yourself.
Aerobics
Retro Aerobics, BodyJam
Choreographed aerobic classes linking all the latest moves using upbeat, funky music guaranteeing a great aerobic workout.
BodyJam is cardio fun ay its best. You'll burn calories, increase your fitness levels and learn to dance better. It is also great for improving coordination with a big focus on moving through a wide range of tempos.
Circuits
Boxercise, Circuits and Anything Goes.
Incorporated into each class is a mixture of cardiovascular and resistance training with variable levels of difficulty to cater for all ages and abilities. (Punch bags and focus mitts used in Boxercise classes).
Kickboxing
Chinese Kickboxing
Experience the ancient martial art of Chinese Kickboxing in a non-intimidating environment. Condition your body, gain confidence, learn self defense and improve on all aspects of general fitness. Grading Optional.
Stretch & Tone, Pilates and Tai Chi
Stretch & Tone, Pilates and Tai Chi
Pilates is designed to strengthen the core postural muscles (particularly stomach and back), developing a slender body and inner strength. Improve stamina, co-ordination, balance and body alignment.
Tai Chi is slow meditative movements that induces relaxation and a sense of calm to its practitioner, also improves health and physical condition, without strain incurred by more vigorous exercise regimes.
Stretch and Tone is designed to promote and improve relaxation in the body, calming the mind and improving posture, flexibility and muscle tone.
Boot Camp
Army Style Training. This class uses own body weight exercises in an army style format. Exercises will include press-ups, squats etc. Weather permitting some of the class may be held outside.
